I recently moved in and I couldn’t be happier with my experience so far! The new manager, Darrell, has gone above and beyond, he even helped me carry furniture from the office to my apartment, which made such a difference during move-in. Tiffany has been so kind and helpful every step of the way. The staff here truly care, and it shows. The community feels welcoming, and everything has been smooth and well-organized. I’m really glad I chose this place to call home!

I’ve lived here around 2 years and love it. The location is great and the leasing office is super helpful. Tiffany and Darrell have events and are super personable. Also, Scott on maintenance is super quick and nice!

I've moved around a lot and 1701 North have been the best apartments I've lived in so far. Yes, compared to others in the area they are more expensive, but it was worth the price to me to have an almost new apartment. The maintenance requests I've put in have been processed within 24 hours. The complex is quiet at night. In the summer, people are always out by the pool. The gym doesn't get crowded. The management hold events regularly. The location is great being right off I-40 and there are... plenty of stores and movie theater close by. I have no complaints about living here.

Overall, the apartment is ok. They have great amenities, are new and clean, and the staff is friendly. It is also really dog friendly and the location is great for busing into Chapel Hill or walking to the grocery store. But for the price it has some major flaws. The worst being that the water pressure is nonexistent. It doesnt matter what time of day it is, water barely trickles out. Its even hard to wash shampoo out of your hair or wash the dishes. I wish I could put a video on here because... trickle is not an exaggeration. Sometimes water will almost completely stop flowing even though there are no other water appliances running. It is so annoying. We've asked about it multiple times and nothing ever comes of it. Another downside is that if you live on the MLK side traffic is pretty loud. We got used to it after a while but if you're sensitive to noise be warned. The dishwasher is also so loud that it scares our dog and makes her shake. Although to be fair a lot of things scare her.

I just moved into the apartment. I generally like the apartment. The maintenance crews are responsive in a timely manner. However my apartment was very dusty from the construction so I had to do a lot of cleaning. In addition, the Clubhouse, Lounge, and Business center are available to residents ONLY during office business hours which is not very resident friendly. Only the exercise gym is available to residents all the time. There is no free Wifi available around the pool or clubhouse, you... need to sign into your own account at the local cable company. There is additional fee of $15 renter's insurance per month if you do not have your own insurance.
