This 3 bedroom 1 bath modern single story bungalow is 1 mile from Duke University in the quaint West End Durham neighborhood. This home is fully furnished and equipped with a fully stocked kitchen, luxury linens, bedding and furnishings to make you... feel at home as soon as you walk through the door. The bedrooms and closets are spacious. The open living room-dining room is light and bright and includes a smart TV. There is extra storage in the back yard for bikes, etc and a screened in porch to enjoy those nice evenings.
Coffee / Tea We provide a single cup Keurig, a regular coffee pot and complimentary coffee & tea with all the fixins.
Heater/AC The Heater/AC control panel is in the hallway opposite the bathroom. Please help us keep costs down by keeping the temperature at a reasonable setting when you are not home. When you check out please set the thermostat to 60 in the winter and 75 in the summer.
Parking The private gravel driveway has space for two cars and there is also room to park on the street in front of the home. Please don’t block neighbors driveways or mailboxes.
Kitchen & Dining The Kitchen is fully stocked and equipped with a dishwasher, oven and microwave. The dining table can comfortably seat four people.
Bedrooms Three spacious bedrooms have fresh linens, towels and darkening blinds. The Primary bedroom has a King memory foam mattress and the other two bedrooms have Queen memory foam mattresses. Primary bedroom has a dresser
Living Room with Smart TV The open living area is equipped with a 55-inch smart TV to stream all your favorite shows, as well as a comfortable L-couch and chair, a collection of board games, and magazines!
Bathroom The home has one bathroom with a standard tub/shower combination, tall vanity, Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Wash, blow dryer, extra toilet paper and trash bags.
Laundry A stackable washer and dryer are tucked away in a nook in the kitchen.
Cleaning Supplies Dishwasher and laundry detergent, paper towels, trash bags and basic cleaning supplies are under the kitchen sink. There is a vacuum, broom and swiffer in the bedroom closet.
Iron & Ironing Board An iron and board are located in the Primary bedroom closet.
Outdoor Space While there are plenty of outdoor activities nearby, the house also provides its own outdoor space for guests to enjoy. There's a front porch with a table and two chairs and a private screened porch in the backyard with another table and two chairs. There is a large shed in the backyard if you need to store bikes, or extra items for longer stays.
Storage Large shed in the back yard to store bikes and/or extra belongings.
Garbage / Recycling / Yard Waste Garbage Pickup is every Thursday. Place Garbage at the curb no later than 5am. Recycling is every other Thursday. Do not block sidewalks or driveways. Remove the emptied container from the curb within 24 hours after pickup.
Fire Extinguisher, Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detectors There is a fire extinguisher under the kitchen sink and a combo smoke detector-carbon monoxide detector in the living room.
