Furnished 2Bed 1Bath for 1 Post-doc/PhD Student, $875/month late May-late Aug, 1.5 mi to Duke Chapel

I’m subleasing my entire 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment for the summer. The apartment is located in the Norwood Ave neighborhood (pin is for reference, not exact location). Rent is $875/month, internet is $50/month, and electric is usually around... $35. This is a great setup for a visiting grad student/post-doc, as you’ll have your own place w/ a furnished bedroom and an office. Or if you want somewhere for the summer while you look for more permanent housing, I can cram my things into one bedroom and you can furnish yourself. Start and end dates can be somewhat flexible.

The apartment is 1.5 miles from Duke Chapel, <10 minute bike ride to campus (I can provide a bike if needed). It’s in a quiet, safe neighborhood off main roads, but <0.5 miles from the Food Lion in Lakewood Shopping Center. <1 mile to nearby Al Buehler trail for exercise/birding. Off street parking is available and there’s a washer/dryer on site but not in unit. The walls are thin, but the neighbors are generally quiet – so you need to be too! No pets, no smoking, no parties, no loud music/tv, quiet hours from ~9pm-7am. Will require a deposit of 1 month’s rent.
