A room in our 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment will be available for sublease from January 1st to August 13th, 2027 at a rate of $775/month with utilities ranging from $75-$90 per person per month. The two other roommates, Khang Hoang (a biomedical... engineering PhD student at Duke) and Nate Valdes (a music major at NCCU), are very respectful, tidy, and contribute substantially to the household management. Their rooms are both in the upstairs area.

The room is located on the ground floor and has its own bathroom that connects to the common area. Though the roommates agree that all bathrooms are shared, from my experience this bathroom is nearly exclusive to the individual staying in this room.

The room has plenty of storage in the closet and room for a queen-sized bed, dresser, and other smaller furniture items. As a side note, the bed and dresser are also available for purchase.

Built within a historic mill building, the rest of the apartment is very spacious and will be fully furnished upon your arrival. The unit has an in-house washer and dryer, oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, etc.

In terms of location, the apartment is located at 723 9th Street Durham, NC 27705. It is only a 5 minute walk to East Campus and a 60 second walk from the Harris Teeter. There is lots to do on 9th street, including restaurants, bars, shops, etc. It is also a 2 minute walk from a bus stop that takes you directly to West Campus.
