Trinity Park Apartments
Murchison offers the ambiance of a quiet country setting with the convenience of urban living. This community is located in Trinity Park, Durham's oldest central neighborhood filled with many historic buildings and homes and 40 square blocks of... tree-lined streets.
A small neighborhood of townhouses and apartments, Murchison is nestled among hardwood magnolia and pine trees with lush landscaping. These bright and airy units have been updated with refinished hardwood floors, new kitchen cabinetry and appliances, and a full size washer/dryer.
Amenities include central air conditioning/gas heat, trash pick-up, pet friendly, and parking. Ideally located in the Trinity Park neighborhood, Murchison is within walking distance of Duke's East Campus, Brightleaf Square, Whole Foods and downtown Durham.
The Murchison townhomes have a lot going for them. They're relatively well maintained for their age and the rent is pretty reasonable. The landlord fixes maintenance issues quickly, though there are no allowances for if you have an emergency after hours. Extra points for being dog friendly with no breed restrictions. The kitchen layout in our unit is weird, but it has a dishwasher and washer/dryer. The location is great, too, right on the freeway which will take you downtown. It's much smaller than our previous apartment. That's what we were looking for, so we call it cozy, but YMMV.
All in all, very pleased!
